DrCharge (“we”, “us”) operates powerbank rental stations and the DrCharge mobile app. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the app or our stations, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We operate in Canada and handle personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws, including PIPEDA and Quebec’s Law 25.
Account information. When you sign up we collect your mobile phone number (used to verify your account by SMS code) and the username you choose.
Location.With your permission, the app uses your device’s location while you are using it to show nearby stations and centre the map on you. We do not track your location in the background.
Camera. The app uses your camera only to scan the QR code on a station. Images are processed on your device and are not stored or uploaded.
Payment information. Card details are collected and stored by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — we keep only a reference to the saved payment method (card brand and last four digits) and your rental and billing history.
Rental activity. We record your rentals: which station and battery you rented, when it was taken and returned, and the amounts charged.

We keep your account information and rental history for as long as your account is active. Billing records may be retained longer where required for tax and accounting purposes.
You can permanently delete your account and associated personal data at any time from the app: Account → Delete account. You can also request deletion by emailing support@drcharge.ca.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent to its collection (which may prevent use of the service). To exercise these rights, contact us at support@drcharge.ca.
